While walking along a mountain path, carrying an insect net and a cage, Yoshi notices an unfamiliar girl inside a telephone booth. The girl spots him looking her way and calls out to him. Her name is Sachi, and she explains that she’s having trouble because the phone isn’t working. Unable to just walk away, Yoshi steps into the booth—but his insect net gets caught in the door, trapping them both inside. To escape the sweltering heat, Yoshi takes off his clothes; Sachi hesitates at first, but, unable to endure the heat any longer, she follows suit. Seeing her figure, Yoshi becomes acutely aware of her as a girl. Suddenly, an insect escapes from the cage Yoshi is holding, sending Sachi into a panic—she throws herself against him, clinging to him. In that moment, Yoshi finds himself keenly aware of the softness of her body.
