Tachikawa (Kuribo) is a shy guy who has secret feelings for Suzu, a fellow naginata martial artist from his dojo. However, Suzu is already in a relationship with Yamazoe, a cold guy whose only strength seems to lie in martial arts. As Suzu grows increasingly troubled by Yamazoe’s cold demeanor, her emotional turmoil begins to affect her training and spirit. Concerned for her well-being, Tachikawa bravely challenges Yamazoe to a match, vowing that if he loses, he’ll step aside, but if Yamazoe loses, he must break up with Suzu. Despite the obvious gap in skill, Tachikawa throws himself into the fight risking everything for the chance to protect the girl he loves.
